(SPOT.ph) You may still be hungover from back-to-back art fairs this February—we're talking about ALT Philippines and Art Fair Philippines—but another art event is already coming our way. Art in the Park, which is known as Art Fair Philippines' more affordable counterpart, is happening on March 15, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Venue is at the Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village, Makati City, it's home since 2006. Admission is free.
Art in the Park gathers a group of galleries, art schools, and collectives in one day. But unlike your usual gallery show (and the annual Art Fair), works of art—from paintings to sculptures, from photographs to mixed-media pieces—are laid out on the ground, piled inside boxes, or placed side-by-side inside the booths with no frills. Prices are capped at P50,000.
