Since then, we've been holding our breaths, waiting for the day the brand's first and only outpost outside of BGC and Makati opens. And finally, today, March 7, we're happy to report that, yes, Northies, you can now grab your "because coffee"—fun fact: it's actually their slogan—favorites in-store at Trinoma. Yup, harlan + holden coffee's North branch just opened, and they're ready to serve your favorite coffee, pastries, and quick bites.

Located on the mall's third floor, harlan + holden coffee is a minimalist coffee haven that stands out among the many cafés scattered around Trinoma. With sleek designs that scream modern-minimalist chic, the new coffee shop's bright and clean-looking aesthetic makes it an easy store to spot from afar. 

Bringing its signature "Ain't Got Time for That" mantra to the North, this harlan + holden coffee delivers a lesson on efficiency. Much like its BGC counterpart, orders for because coffee Trinoma can be made ahead using their app and simply picked up in-store. But for those who walk in, it's still a seamless techie experience with tablets on the counter for customers to order and customize their drinks without needing the help of the baristas. Not only that—the store is also completely cashless, sparing the staff the tedious job of accounting and minding the till, leaving them with more time to focus on the drinks and food, as well as on improving customer experience.  

True to its origins of being a grab-and-go type of establishment, there aren't any tables and chairs in-store where you can sit around and chat while having your cup of joe. There are benches you can sit on while waiting for your order, but ultimately you're not meant to stick around the store for too long. The ideal harlan + holden coffee experience is one where the customer can come get their coffee and immediately go about their day. Their grab-and-go philosophy is predominant even in how they serve their drinks and bites, as most can be consumed while walking around and doing errands. 

In terms of their menu items, because coffee Trinoma carries all the same beverages and food items as their other branches so you can catch your harlan + holden favorites. The selection includes the Sea Salt Latte (P190 tall/iced), Butterscotch Latte (P185 short/hot, P190 tall/iced), and the crowd-favorite COOP x harlan + holden sea salt latte collab (P190). You can also get your fill of perfect-for-your-coffee snacks like cookies, brownies, and even savory pies, all for P110 each. 

If you ask us about our go-to orders at harlan + holden coffee, it goes without saying that anything with their signature sea salt cream is a must-try—but a surprising new addition to our order list is the Campfire Coffee (P180 short/hot, P185 tall/iced), an espresso-based double chocolate drink topped with toasted vanilla marshmallow creme. Think of it as drinkable s'mores! It's best to pair it with anything savory, like their take on the classic grilled cheese a.k.a., the Oh My Cheesus Sandwich (P110) or the Spinach + Cheese hand pie (P110).

There's a ton to be excited about when it comes to this outpost of the harlan + holden brand. Not only are they including their soft-serve ice cream on the menu soon, but they'll also be launching their retail store right next door.
