Sinag Café is located on the 4th floor of Fili Hotel in the Nustar Resort and Casino compound in Cebu City. Able to cater up to 350 diners, the buffet restaurant houses a wide selection of dishes from several stations. The Filipino station features classic (and local) Filipino ulam dishes such as balbacua, dinuguan, and adobo while the station with Spanish-inspired food includes tapas, paella, patatas bravas, and croquetas. The noodle section includes Filipino as well as other Asian soups. Since the station offers three kinds of noodles, namely egg (canton), rice (bihon), and vermicelli (sotanghon), you can request bowls of laksa, ramen, and pho along with batchoy and lomi.
Another area of the buffet restaurant is the grilling station. This is where you can order sutukil. "Sutukil" is a combo of words for three dishes: sugba, a grilled dish, tuwa a stewed dish, and kilaw, a dish cooked with vinegar. You can choose from various kinds of fresh shellfish, fish, and meats that they'll make into the trio of dishes. You can also just order any of the seafood grilled as desired such as grilled prawns, clams, and even inihaw na liempo and blue marlin.
Other Asian dishes you can find among the buffet spread include Indonesian-Malaysian food such as satays, rendang, and curries. Those who crave Korean dishes will enjoy braised seafood kimchi in the Asian section and banchan side dishes in the cold buffet section. You can't have a buffet without Japanese and Chinese food and you'll find various tempura, sushi, makis, and different kinds of dim sum scattered around the buffet area in respective sections.
However, what makes this buffet restaurant truly unique is the live roasting station. It is the first and only buffet restaurant that has it! If you're lucky, you'll chance upon the whole pig being roasted and you'll enjoy fresh-from-the-spit Cebu lechon. Even if you don't get to see the roasting action live, you are sure to enjoy the Cebu lechon because unlike some lechon, this lechon was tasty with tender meat, crisp skin, and was delicious even without the liver sauce or the suka!
Another classic Cebuano original is the pungko-pungko station, or the fried street food items. This is where you'll find ginabot (deep-fried mesentery), ngohiong (a kind of kikiam-like meat and vegetable dish), and other bamboo-skewered meats.
We can't forget the dessert station! Here you'll find selections of your favorite guilty pleasures such as chocolate cakes, mousses, cheesecakes, truffles, and even in-house gelatos and freshly made crepes, halo halo mix-ins, and binignit or ginataang bilo bilo.
There's always so much food to see and taste, and buffets are notorious for having more food than most anyone can enjoy at any one sitting!

If you're wondering what's for breakfast, you can expect the classic danggit or salted and dried rabbitfish fried until crisp, Cebu longganisa also known as chorizo de Cebu, the round, bright red local sweet or jamonado sausages with just a hint of spice, and he usual homemade corned beef, bacon, and freshly cooked eggs as you like it at the egg station, including coddled eggs and eggs benedict!
Those who need rice for breakfast can have it in different ways, including as steamed rice, garlic fried rice, congee, goto, or as either chocolate or ube champorado, too!

You're probably salivating already so if you're game to dine in at Sinag Cafe's buffet, you can be a walk-in diner even if you're not a check-in guest. Sinag Café is an all-day dining buffet restaurant, so that's what makes it so attractive.
Sinag Café is open for breakfast from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and dinner from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Meanwhile, the lunch buffet is currently only available over the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The price of the breakfast buffet is P1,228 per person while the lunch and dinner buffets are P2,490 per person.
