(SPOT.ph) Most people make a beeline for Pan De Manila's basket displays of bread and the rack of freshly-baked pandesal, while some go for the breakfast sandwiches and doughnuts. But if you've ever encountered customers rummaging through the store's ice cream freezer, and it got you wondering what they're buying, the chances are they want to buy a pint of Pan de Manila's Avocado Ice Cream.
The store's avocado ice cream has gained its own cult following, mostly of avocado fans whose expectations are met with the P230-per-pint price point. Pan De Manila followed it with a cake version sold at the bread shop's restaurant, Merienda by Pan De Manila. Now, another evolution was created with the new Avocado Graham Sundae.

Can the new avocado ice cream of Pan De Manila live up to the OG's popularity?
What we liked and didn't like about Avocado Graham Sundae
The Avocado Graham Crumble isn't exactly apples to apples—or in this case, avocados to avocados—with the original Avocado Ice Cream pints. The new dessert cup has three important layers: crushed graham in the bottom, ice cream in between, and bits of frozen avocados on top; while the OG Avocado Ice Cream visibly had this pastel green shade that comes from churning the ice cream with avocados.
Pan De Manila's Avocado Graham Sundae deserves a loud "YAAAS!" in our book. It's sweet—as it should be, with the coconut milk not shying away, lending its sweet-fruitiness in the cream, and most importantly, has enough avocados for each spoonful.
With that being said, there's one tiny detail that we couldn't help but notice: The crushed Graham turns into mush with a slightly unpleasant texture, reminiscent of a jam that won't easily melt in the mouth. Tip: A quick fix is to consume the dessert frozen or ever-so-lightly melted.
Other Pan De Manila Graham Sundae flavors: Strawberry and Mango
Pan De Manila also sells the Graham Sundae cups in other flavors, namely the Strawberry Graham Sundae and Mango Graham Sundae. The Mango flavor is too close to the crowd-favorite Mango Refrigerated Cake, which makes it easy to love the flavor. At some point, it will make you rethink why you've never switched all-purpose cream and condensed milk with vanilla ice cream.
For the Strawberry Graham Sundae, this, to us, was also delectable and had the same comforting, familiar feeling. This dessert reminds us of picking plump strawberries from Baguio, bringing a pack of bag of it home to Metro Manila, slicing each piece, and carefully placing all the slices in a bowl. Finally, the final step of adding enough evaporated milk until the strawberry pieces float in this thick dairy, then place it inside a refrigerator until chilled and ready to eat. Except with this Pan De Manila, it's a shortcut—a quick fix.
Where to buy Pan De Manila's Graham Sundaes + Price
Pan De Manila's Avocado Graham Sundae costs P85 per cup on GrabFood. The packaging of Pan De Manila's Graham Crumble cups comes in a sizeable cup with a plastic cover, making it delivery-friendly—and portable.
The other two Graham Sundae flavors, the Strawberry Graham Sundae and the Mango Graham Sundae, are both sold at the same price and in the same kind of packaging.
It would be slightly more affordable if the Graham Sundae cups were bought directly from a Pan De Manila store. You can check the list of stores on the official website to find out where the nearest Pan De Manila store is.
