(SPOT.ph) We're sure you've seen it on the endless scroll: folks making insanely cute Japanese candy in the oddest of shapes. Wondering where to get it in Manila to heal your inner child (or give to an actual child)? No need to fly out to Japan as there's one spot in Quezon City where you can get all the coolest finds: Mini Japanese grocery store Konbini has opened up shop in Robinsons Magnolia. The name might be familiar to San Juan regulars who visit the grocery's OG spot along Connecticut. After around a decade of being that neighborhood's go to, they've finally branched out to the north.

Score cool Japanese finds and eats at Konbini in Robinsons Magnolia
Located at the ground floor right next to Rustan's Marketplace, it's impossible to miss Konbini's facade, especially since the dining area calls you right in. You'll find shelves upon shelves of Japanese goods—from pantry staples to all kinds of drinks, frozen goods, hard-to-find treats, and more—in this easy-to-navigate shop. At the end of the store is a small dining area with views right into the kitchen for a quick and hearty meal of gyoza, ramen, and whatnot.Â

We spotted all sorts of cool Japanese goods, but what stole our attention has to be the candy from Kracie Popin' Cookin'. You know the ones where you make classic Japanese dishes only tiny and made out of candy? Yup, you can cop a box or two, or 10, here starting at around P200 here. We also spotted Fujiya Milky candy and many more treats.Â
