PSA: This Burger King Drink Is No Longer on the Menu

(SPOT.ph) Burger King is one of the mainstream fast-food chains in the country and has always been known for their flame-grilled burgers. But if you were ever brave enough to venture outside their usual carbonated drinks to pair with your burger, then chances are you've tried what is actually one of their best items on the menu: the BK Mocha Joe Frost. 

For the longest time, this coffee float has been on the menu and never really had its moment under the spotlight. Unfortunately, it will never really come to that point as we've confirmed this Burger King item is no longer on the menu.

Burger King's Mocha Joe Frost is no longer on the menu:

After circulating posts online about the Mocha Joe Frost's possible—but now confirmed—removal from the menu, we exhausted all means to confirm if the rumors are true. The SPOT.ph team reached out to Burger King through their official Facebook page and asked about the drink's current availability, and this is their response:

"The Mocha Joe Frost is not on our menu anymore. But you can try our new BK Cafe and still enjoy the taste of the Mocha Joe Frost by upgrading the new Iced Mocha (priced at P65) to a coffee float for only P20."

Unfortunately, the BK Mocha Joe Frost is no more—but fortunately, Burger King is not leaving us empty-handed and caffeine-deprived. The fast food chain is offering the next best thing—or something better altogether: a BK Mocha Joe Frost hack using their new drink. 

The hack can be made by ordering an Iced Mocha (P65/medium and P85/large), a new drink under their new line of BK Café beverages. The new drink does not come with ice cream which is essential to the BK Mocha Joe Frost, hence an additional P20 is needed for a successful hack.

When it comes to the taste, it won't taste exactly like the BK Mocha Joe Frost which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your relationship with coffee. The BK Mocha Joe Frost hack has a stronger coffee taste compared to the original.

UPDATE (May 23, 8:47 p.m.): We have updated the phrasing of this article, specifically using the words "phaseout" and "discontinue." The drink still exists but through a customization hack.
