LOOK: Chinese Hot Pot Spot Haidilao Is Opening at This Mall

(SPOT.ph) Fans of all things hot and spicy were in for quite the treat as news broke out about Sichuan hot pot chain Haidilao coming to our shores in 2022. Fast forward to 2023, and it's finally coming to fruition: the hot pot spot is opening in Pasay, specifically at SM Mall of Asia.

Here's where Haidilao is finally opening in the Philippines:

Details about Haidilao's opening were rather sparse at the time the news broke out in 2022—we knew they were coming, as announced by the Department of Trade and Industry who shared this would generate at least 400 jobs. Now we've got more answers, thanks to a post on the official Facebook page of SM Mall of Asia. Oh yes, Haidilao is coming to the said mall soon—specifically on Level 1 of the mall's Entertainment Mall section. We'll let these photos do the talking.

There's no official word yet about the exact opening date, but you best bet we'll update you Spotters on that as soon as we can! In the meantime, we suggest hitting up these other A+ hot pot spots around Manila to quell the craving.

Founded in Sichuan in 1994 (now with numerous branches around China and the rest of Asia!), Haidilao is loved for their great-tasting hot pot—where you can choose from different broths, ingredients, sauces, and more. Adding to the whole experience are live performances, great customer service, provisions that include a hair tie and plastic bags for phones, and more, to go with your meal.
