This Superstore Will Soon Sell Cebu Lechon for the Holidays

(SPOT.ph) Beyond the holiday quintessential macaroni salad and hamon that we make (stomach) room in preparation for the Christmas season, the Noche Buena and Media Noche table spread don't feel complete without juicy lechon. If this slab of roasted pig is a mainstay in your -Ber month festivities, guess what: you can soon buy the Cebu-style lechon at Landers Superstore.

Here's the deal on Cebu lechon at Landers Superstore

In a Facebook post by Landers Superstore, they teased that the members-only supermarket will soon offer Cebu-style lechon. (Note: this is completely different from and not to be confused with Luzon lechon, as it uses more aromatics and spices to give the meat flavor.) The lechon will come from Pig Senyor Lechon, a local joint with experienced lechoneros that can roast real-deal Cebu-style lechon in Metro Manila, just so no one needs to go all the way to Cebu for it or pay for the air freight.

According to Landers Superstore, they will offer the lechon in small, medium, and large sizes with prices starting at P9,650. 

This juicy news comes at a perfect time when we're about to experience waves of Christmas rushes in the supermarket. Now, there's no need to make a separate trip to a lechon joint when you can do the grocery shopping and secure the lechon in one place.
