UPDATED: Fogo de Chão to Open First PH Branch at Glorietta This 2025

(SPOT.ph) Meat has a special place in the hearts of Brazilians, as the country's home to a distinct BBQ culture where meats are grilled to charred-juicy perfection and carved tableside. One of the restaurants leading the way is Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão—which, ICYMI, announced in 2022 that they'd be opening branches in our shores soon. Looks like we're one step closer to that highly anticipated opening, as The Bistro Group has confirmed that they'll be opening at Glorietta in Makati.

Just a few more months of waiting, Spotters: Fogo de Chão will be opening in Glorietta 4 by Q3 this year, The Bistro Group confirms with SPOT.ph.
We first got wind of the news in December 2023 as a boardup of the Brazilian steakhouse was spotted in the mall—specifically at an outside-fronting area in front of SM Makati and near Hobing Korean Dessert Café. Take a look:
Quick recap: in 2022, the Bistro Group announced plans to open a total of five Fogo de Chão locations over the coming years—and this upcoming Glorietta leg looks to be the first. This would be the first Fogo de Chão not only in the Philippines, but in the whole of Asia.
Fogo de Chão was founded in Southern Brazil in 1979. They're know for having perfected the art of churrasco, or Brazilian barbecue, and have locations in 66 locations worldwide—among them Brazil, the U.S., Dubai, and more.
