(SPOT.ph)  When all you want is harlan + holden's Sea Salt Latte but their store at One Bonifacio High Street is at full capacity, it begs the question: What are my options? While you can most likely take a seat in the public open spaces in the area if the weather is ideal, here's a better option: Go to the other harlan + holden store that's within walking distance from the BGC.

Yup, you read that right: harlan + holden coffee opened a new flagship store in the heart of BGC. This time around, the spacious store has a second story.

Here's a closer look at harlan + holden coffee's new store:

Sticking to the café's signature industrial-meets-minimalistic design, the new harlan + holden coffee's glass facade leaves no element of surprise—perfect for the busy and fast-paced lifestyle of the BGC crowd. One can see how packed the store is if there's a queue, and if that queue is short enough that you're willing to wait, from the outside.

In case there is space, what you'll see inside the café is an island table with a row of built-in espresso machines. If coffee appreciation is your thing, or if you want to shoot content for TikTok, this kind of open setup shows the process of how baristas concoct your order.  

When you roam around the café's ground floor, you'll see a display of harlan + holden coffee's merchandise—basic, day-to-day pieces you can pair with just about everything. There are black and white caps that you can use with any outfit, statement tote bags for an added personality, and drinkware for the cups of coffee you make at home.

The second floor's space is mainly for more seating. They have tables and chairs, communal long tables with high stools, and low bar tables by the window, overlooking the streets of BGC. This specific spot is perfect for people-watching—or if you want to replicate that coffee-shop-overlooking-Shibuya-crossing vibe in the local context.

The main thing to look forward to at this café is, of course, the coffee and food. If you need to go out of your comfort zone (read: our go-to is the Sea Salt Latte), you can try the new-ish Hazelnut Latte. This drink is made with velvety espresso, steamed milk, and a topping of bubbly foam and hazelnut cream—don't worry, it's the pleasant kind that's not overpoweringly sweet—added to the inside edges of the cup.  But aside from this latte, there are a few branch-exclusive food and beverage options offered at the BGC flagship store to try.
