Breakfast at Antonio's

One of the more recent Metro restaurant openings is Breakfast at Antonio's, which opened at Robinsons Magnolia last May. Antonio’s Group of Restaurants founder Chef Tonyboy Escalante brings his signature breakfast dishes—such as the Twice-Cooked Adobo, Housemade Longganisa, and Monte Cristo Sandwiches—closer to the city's breakfast crowd. They also have Pedro The Grocer where you can shop its selection of deli products and freshly baked goods.

Antonio's

Antonio's, another establishment under Antonio's Group of Restaurants, opened its Manila outpost along EDSA in Mandaluyong City a year before Breakfast at Antonio's opened in Quezon City. Antonio's in Tagaytay has always been about fine dining and the same quality applies at the Metro Manila branch, though the latter has a darker, sleeker feel perfect for dates with your special someone. The restaurant takes pride in serving Nomad Kaluga Hybrid Caviar that can be served alongside their stakes such as the Porterhouse, T-Bone, and Bone-in Ribeye.

Pamana

Although Tagaytay has a saturation of dining options for Filipino cuisine, Pamana has long been one of the go-to restaurants for its heirloom Filipino dishes, especially for its bestselling Seafood Kare-Kare with Casuy. Way back in 2014, the restaurant owned by Happy Ongpaco-Tiu of Happy Concept Groups finally opened a Metro Manila branch in Legazpi Village, Makati City with the same homey ambiance across all its other branches in Tagaytay, Baguio, and Boracay.

Tsokolateria

Tagaytay's nippy weather and Tsokolateria's mug of tsokolate de batirol (or hot chocolate) pairing is divine—it simply makes sense. But if the cooler climate doesn't hold much weight and you just need the comfort of chocolate in your system, the Tagaytay restaurant (also owned by Happy Ongpauco Tiu) that incorporates chocolate in every item on the menu, opened two Metro Manila-based branches throughout the pandemic, namely, Greenbelt 5 in Makati City and SM Aura in Taguig City.
