Cibo Partners With Zubuchon for This Must-Try Porchetta

(SPOT.ph) The closure of Zubuchon's Metro Manila branches back in August 2023 has left us with a longing for good, accessible Cebu lechon in the Metro—but if you think the only answer is to book a Cebu trip to go to the remaining Zubuchon branches is the only solution, you're gravely mistaken. Italian restaurant Cibo has partnered with Zubuchon to release the new Zubuchon Porchetta.

The Zubuchon Porchetta pretty much brings you the best of both worlds: it's got the crackly-juicy character of Zubuchon's pork belly, gone zesty with Cibo's signature blend of herbs.

The porchetta is prepared by the Zubuchon chefs who stuff, roll, and roast the lechon the Italian way, resulting in crunchy, crackling skin, and the juiciest, flavorful meat you can partner with Cibo's Mushroom Pilaf Rice. Unlike Zubuchon's Cebu lechon which is served with spiced vinegar, Cibo's Zubuchon Porchetta comes with three kinds of sauce: Apple & Pear Mostrada, Red Wine Liver, and Spicy Tomatoes.

The Zubuchon Porchetta has three sizes depending on the weight (measured by gram per square meter) of the porchetta. A meal of 200 gsm-weighted porchetta costs P845; the 400-gsm porchetta costs P1,479; and the most expensive option is the 10,000 gsm porchetta which costs P3,805.

You can catch the Cibo x Zubuchon Porchetta across all Cibo branches. Alternatively, you can get it delivered to you via GrabFood and Cibo's in-house delivery service, Cibo Rapido.
