Jollibee Foods Corporation Discontinues Happyplus Program

(SPOT.ph) Sure, you have the credit cards that entitle you, as the cardholder, with several restaurant and hotel buffets, and even access to airport lounges. But in case you have dining establishment-specific cards in your bulky wallet—one that's specific to Jollibee and other Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) brands—then we have sad news for you: Happyplus has announced the discontinuation of their program by July.

Jollibee Foods Corporation announces the discontinuation of the Happyplus program

Jollibee Foods Corporation announces they are to "sunset" the Happyplus program—and thus its related cards—in a press release on its website. The discontinuation applies to the following happyplus cards: Joy Rewards Card (Jollibee), Overload Rewards Card (Greenwich), Chow Card (Chowking), Red Ribbon Rewards Card (Red Ribbon), and Mang Inasal Card (Mang Inasal).

Those with active Happyplus cards have until July 31, 2024 to load and earn points with their card. The cardholders can redeem their Happypoints until September 30, 2024 only. Points will be forfeited if unused after September 30.

What is a happyplus Card?

The Happyplus program is a customer loyalty initiative by Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) designed to reward frequent customers at various JFC-owned establishments, including Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon, and Mang Inasal. Members earn points for their purchases, with a point system of earning one (1) happypoint for every P50 spent, and each happypoint equivalent to one peso. 

The benefit of owning a Happyplus card is points can be redeemed for discounts or free items at these participating stores. There are also happyplus-exclusive promotions from Jollibee, Chowking, Red Ribbon, Greenwich, and Mang Inasal.

How to apply for a happyplus Card?

Just in case you still want to apply for a Happyplus card, as some last effort to show your support, you can do so by buying a Welcome Kit at any cashier counter of Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon, and Mang Inasal stores nationwide for only P100.

You can then proceed to register your membership through the happyplus website. Take note that upon activation of your membership, the card validity of three years will no longer apply. The card can still earn points up until July 31, 2024 only.
