Morton's the Steakhouse Is Opening in Taguig This November

(SPOT.ph) It was in 2022 that we first got wind of Morton's the Steakhouse making their way to the Philippines. By late 2023, we got a sighting of the steak establishment's boardup in Taguig. Our hankerings have pretty much been on hold since then—but after a year of waiting, it's finally set: Morton's is opening in Manila this November.

Here's what we know about Morton's the Steakhouse opening in Manila:

Morton’s The Steakhouse is opening at Uptown Eastgate on November 25. They're brought in by The Bistro Group, who's also done so with well-loved concepts like TGI Fridays, Modern Shanghai, and Hard Rock Café.

“We have been looking forward to the opening of Morton’s since we signed an agreement with them a couple of years ago. They have the best quality and consistently good food from source to plate, genuine hospitality and a solid reputation for over four decades," says The Bistro Group's Jean Paul Manuud. "We see a tremendous opportunity for both The Bistro Group and Landry’s in the country. Partnering with the world’s largest owner-operator of high-end steakhouses is an honor for us."

Some fast facts while you drool in anticipations: Morton's hails from Chicago and debuted in 1978; today they have locations around the U.S. and around the world (Mexico, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore, to name a few). In the U.S., they pride themselves on their use of USDA Prime beef, with some cuts being dry-aged for better taste and texture. These famously come in large portions that satisfy,  and can be upgraded with add-ons of the likes of their black truffle butter. Other must-tries on their menu are their seafood plates and, of course, wine.
