BLK 513 Launches a New Cookie Butter Sauce for Christmas

(SPOT.ph) If there's anything we've noticed with the new wave of frozen yogurt fans for the past few years, it's that they love a drizzle of the cinnamon-y and caramel-y cookie sauce on top of their froyo. Now, if you want to experience this sweet-tangy combination in a very different way, heads up: BLK 513 is launching new Christmas items on the menu: the (take a long, deep inhale) Red Velvet Spiced Cookie Cheesecake Sauce, and the Jolly Giant Cookie Box.

For starters, there's the new Red Velvet Spiced Cookie Cheesecake Sauce. This new limited-edition topping's suuuper long name is a portmanteau combining BLK 513’s bestselling Spiced Cookie Sauce and the limited edition Red Velvet Sauce, the latter being this vibrant blood-red sauce that's available either during the spookiest season or the Most Wonderful Time of the Year annually. This new combination results in this froyo topping with that Spiced Cookie taste, but milkier and with a tamed-down sweetness that pairs with the lip-puckering tang of their signature activated charcoal frozen yogurt.

But there’s another way to enjoy the limited-edition Red Velvet Spiced Cookie Cheesecake Sauce, and that’s through the Jolly Giant Box (P285). This is basically their Small Purpose Cup of froyo drizzled with the Red Velvet Spiced Cookie Cheesecake Sauce served alongside a palm-sized deep dish cookie where the same red sauce is placed. You get the option to choose the cookie base used for the Jolly Giant Box—take your pick between the Spiced Cookie and the Oreo Cookie.

Our personal fave combo? Spiced Cookie with Red Velvet Spiced Cookie Cheesecake Sauce. Just be cautious, especially for the clumsy eaters: please use a spoon. The filling in the center is served warm when you order it for dine-in, so it will ooze out like red lava when you break the cookie. If you decide to order this for takeout, you can place the cookie in the freezer so that when the sauce hardens you can easily eat it without the need for utensils.

Now, if you’re a creature of habit and you want to stick to the classics, that's totally fine. The Jolly Giant Cookie Box is also available as a Jolly Giant Spiced Cookie Box. This makes use of the same deep-dish Spiced Cookie filled with Spiced Cookie Sauce in the center and paired with the frozen yogurt drizzled with Spiced Cookie Sauce. Then there's the Jolly Giant Oreo Cookie Box which has the deep-dish Oreo Cookie filled with Cereal Milk Sauce in the center and served with frozen yogurt drizzled with Ceream Milk Sauce.

BLK 513's Red Velvet Spiced Cookie Cheesecake Sauce and the Jolly Giant Cookie Box are available in stores starting November 22. These items will be available for three months—that's roughly until February. You have more than enough time to try and come back for seconds, thirds, and tenths.
