Cebu Pacific Launches New In-Flight Meals

(SPOT.ph) If you're the type of aircraft passenger who doesn't order in-flight meals, we honestly hope it would be your 2025 resolution to make a switch because you'll be missing out on all these new dishes—ones you can only get when you're up in the air.

For the frequent flyers of Cebu Pacific, the popular in-flight CebPac eats have always been the fork-tender Beef Adobo and Chicken Wrap. But it looks like this might change soon as the Philippines' top-budget carrier has spiced up its in-flight dining game with the addition of four new dishes: Chicken Teriyaki, Vegetable Tom Yum, Chicken Green Curry, and Penne Chicken Bolognese.

Cebu Pacific's new in-flight meals for food lovers

CEB’s Fun Café menu now serves up these four new dishes. Which means there's a little something for every kind of foodie, whether you're a vegetarian, someone who loves spicy food, or traveling with a picky-eater for a toddler.

One that should win the hearts of both carnivores and vegetarians (and our personal favorite!) is the new spicy Vegetable Tom Yum. The traditional Thai dish typically has shrimp, chicken, or pork, but since this is a vegetarian-friendly dish, it only uses mushrooms and corn in its thickened laksa sauce (not soup); it's also served with a mixture of rice and quinoa. Warning: The Vegetable Tom Yum packs a lot of heat so do manage your expectations... and maybe have candy on hand, just in case.

If you want something that's not as spicy but still leaves a tingling sensation in the mouth, the Chicken Green Curry is a great option. The curry itself is a balance of herby and slightly sweet that you'll want to get every last drop of it on your spoon or coating the rice it comes with. But for those who like sweet dishes, the Chicken Teriyaki should be the clear choice. This has boneless chicken pieces cooked in a sweet Teriyaki sauce together with a lot of onions. 

Meanwhile, the Penne Chicken Bolognese is great for those who are not exactly adventurous eaters. This pasta dish features a slow-cooked savory tomato sauce with minced chicken poured over al dente penne.

How to order new Cebu Pacific in-flight dishes?

Previously, CebPac passengers could only purchase in-flight meals 24 hours prior to departure but with the launch of these new dishes, people can now order meals during the flight. Yup, no need to pre-order anymore!

The new CEB Meals are available on all international flights as well as select domestic routes departing from Manila to provinces in Mindanao, including:

• Butuan
• Cagayan de Oro
• Davao
• Dipolog
• General Santos
• Ozamiz
• Pagadian
• Zamboanga
