Starbucks Now Has Oat Milk Drinks, Kataifi Cheesecake + Sakura Tumblers

(SPOT.ph) Cherry blossom season is one of the most anticipated times of the year—not just in places like Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, where we see the real-deal blossoms in all its pink glory, but it's equally as exciting to see the pink petals on your cups of coffee. This year, Starbucks is welcoming sakura season with new drinks, food, and, as was anticipated, the pretty-in-pink tumblers and mugs.

Check out Starbucks' new drinks and food this Spring:

The new drink for this season is the Honey Nougat Oatmilk (P210/Tall, P225/Grande, P240/Venti), a caffeinated concoction using espresso, oat milk, vanilla, and sugar cane syrup for its base, and then topped with sweet nougat foam and chewy nougat bits. This is available as a hot or iced Macchiato, or as a Frappuccino crowned with whipped cream.

For fans of the pistachio-kataifi trend, Starbucks' Spring food includes the Chocolate Chip Crunch Cheesecake (P295/slice, P3,360/whole cake), a cheesecake with a brownie foundation, a melts-in-the-mouth layer of cheesecake, followed with a layer of crunchy kataifi, and topped with chocolate and whipped cream topping. There's even a pistachio dessert on the menu, the Strawberry Pistachio Crepe Cake (P275/slice, P3,135) that has 17—yes, 17!— layers of crepe alternating with pistachio cream and strawberry cream, finished with strawberry cream on top and a sprinkle of chopped pistachios.

Starbucks also has the Grilled Ham and Three Cheese on Sourdough Bread (P195) which is levels above the classic ham and cheese sandwich; Mango Banana Loaf (P85, P725/whole), a banana bread with sweet notes of yellow mango; Sakura Doughnut (P95) a cherry blossom-shaped doughnut decorated with a strawberry glaze; and the Chicken Kung Pao Pasta (P205), a savory pasta dish with bucatini pasta and roasted chicken coated in a spicy sauce.

New Starbucks cherry blossom merchandise

The Spring merchandise is called the Milky Island, a collection all about the opaque colors of creamy whites, baby blues, and pastel pinks. Some of the eye-catching pieces from this collection are the Cherry Blossom Mug which has a 3D cherry blossom in the body, the Cherry Blossom White Tumbler with graphics of a deer walking through trees of blossoming cherry blossoms, and a blue lid that adds a cute touch since it looks like a cloud, and for the heavy drinkers (be it water or coffee), there's the Starbucks x Stanley that has this gradient off-white and pastel pink body with small cherry blossom details, plus a cherry blossom straw cover.

There's a Starbucks rewards card counterpart to this collection too. The Milky Island rewards card is designed with the same deer, birds, and sakura seen on the drinkware collection. The other card is the Dazzling Blooms—this design is a field of vibrant purple and blue flowers.
