Matcha churros, a churro cone, and other new treats at Churreria La Lola
Because you can never have too many churros.
(SPOT.ph) Lola knows best—or, rather, La Lola does. It seems this sweet franchise just can't stop coming up with new ways to present churros (and we just can't stop going crazy over them). Fresh from their release of homemade soft-serve ice cream and choux pastry bowls, Churreria La Lola's kitchens have yet to take a break from brainstorming. Now, they've come up with a new edible vessel and a play on one of Manila's most popular flavors.
The soft-serve ice cream, as previously reported on SPOT.ph, comes in three flavors: Moreno Crema (P150), a Nutella-based soft serve with cashew nuts and dark chocolate sprinkles; the Blanco Espesyal (P150), which is plain vanilla mixed with cinnamon for a kick and topped with cashew nuts and dark chocolate sprinkles; and Mixto (P150), for those who like the best of both worlds.
Now, if you don't want to enjoy your ice cream in the usual plastic cup (complete with a lazo or a lasso-shaped churro) or in a bowl-shaped churro, La Lola has come up with a new churro cone that hits two enjoyments with one smash dessert.
As for matcha lovers, Churreria La Lola has joined the green-tea-loving fray. Leaving their fryers fast are the Matcha Green Tea Churros (P245 to P555), beautiful freshly fried tubes coated in matcha chocolate. That sweet earthiness adds a nice touch of flavor to the churros.
These items are available only at the Churreria La Lola branch at Serendra, Bonifacio Global City—so far. Read more about Churreria La Lola.
