They first became known for their Chocolate Dreamcake, a gooey chocolate cake with a generous layer of ganache and dusting of cocoa powder. But having their cake meant ordering through their Facebook page or dropping by their workshop in Santa Ana, Manila. Don't get discouraged: Now, getting your sweet fix has become easier with the opening of their first store at SM North EDSA.
Aside from the Chocolate Dreamcake, Le Sucre Lab also offers the Strawberry Dreamcake, a luscious chiffon cake layered with fresh strawberries and cloud-like strawberry cream; and the Mango Dreamcake with chunks of sweet ripe mango between sponge cake and whipped cream. Be sure to drop by early because we're sure these tin-can cakes will run out fast.
