(SPOT.ph) Traditional recipes offer familiar flavors you can rely on, but spicing things up presents endless possibilities. While PizzaExpress has always proven themselves to be excellent when it comes to traditional Italian fare, they've also constantly pushed the boundaries when it comes to pizza. Their branches in Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong have pizzas that celebrate the local favorites from each location—and you don't need to fly out of the country to get them as PizzaExpress brings these East-Meets-West pizzas to their Manila branches until June 30.

Each pizza has the elements that make each of the dishes they're based upon distinctive. Their Rendang Classic (P590) tops their classic pillowy dough with beef, spices, chili, and coconut milk while the Laksa Romana (P650) highlights distinctive Singaporean flavors with with shrimp, mussels, squid, and cilantro. Another seafood option is the Chilli Crab Romana (P560) which uses sweet chilli sauce with crab meat and mantou croutons. If you’re craving something meatier, their Peking Duck Romana (P590) boasts house roasted Peking-style duck and hoisin sauce on a crisp thin crust. For something sweet and savory, try the Chicken Satay Romana (P495) which has chunks of barbecue chicken slathered with traditional sweet-savory peanut sauce and pickled vegetables. Grab a bite before they're gone!
