Shake Shack Is Finally Opening in Megamall
We've got details on the Megamall exclusives, too!
(SPOT.ph) Maybe you’re a regular at Shake Shack’s BGC branch, maybe you haven’t even tried it at all (we don’t blame you, those long lines can really intimidate). Either way, if you’re from the North, you’re in luck: the American burger joint is finally opening their second Philippine branch at the ground floor of SM Mega Fashion Hall on December 6 at 11 a.m.
Queuing will start at 6 a.m., with Shack shades and Shack20 water to be given to the first 100 guests in line. The menu will feature two concretes exclusive to the Megamall branch: the Mega Mangga!, a blend of mango and vanilla custard with crushed graham crackers, and the Coconut Pie Oh My, a vanilla custard blended with Wildflour's coconut pie. Five percent of the proceeds from this menu item will benefit Children's Hour.
The Megamall branch was designed to look like an indoor replica of Shake Shack's first branch in Madison Square Park, with similar elements like the exposed roof rafters and a green roof.
Shake Shack started as a hotdog stand in Manhattan in 2001 but quickly gained a following thanks to their honest-to-goodness good burgers. They opened their first Philippine branch at Central Square in BGC on May 10, serving Philippine exclusives that include their Calamansi Pie Concrete and Insta-famous Ube Shake.
