(SPOT.ph) It was in July of the year 2016 that tragedy struck: On a fateful Thursday morning—before dawn, even—Shoppersville Supermarket along Katipunan Avenue was ravaged by a fire, including its bakeshop. Since then, those of us who frequent the major street have felt a twinge of sadness with every drive there—until now.
Well, you no longer have to reminisce as Shoppersville Bakeshoppe has made their return as Burnt Sugar PH (on both Facebook and Instagram, go on and say hello). That means that the Banana Cupcakes as well as their other goodies are back in our lives!
It seems the only things that have changed are the name and location—Malingap Central Food Hall, to be exact—the recipes and the bakers are still the same. Though they’re no doubt busy preparing for the holidays, we can’t wait to get our hands on the pastries of our childhood once again.
