It’s Your Last Chance to Try This Beef Brisket From Holy Smokes
You only have until the end of the month!
(SPOT.ph) If you’ve never tried Holy Smokes’ USDA Angus Beef Brisket, you’re missing out—it was their first star on the menu when they opened back in 2016, and it’s continued to wow meat lovers through the years with its juicy-AF, smoky makeup. Due to supply issues, the homegrown restaurant has sadly announced that the said dish will making a departure from the menu in a week. That’s right: you only have until the end of January to feast on the meaty dish (P800/250 grams), or live the rest of your life with regret.
Not all is lost, however: in a phone call, Holy Smokes shares that they’ll be replacing the brisket with beef belly, employing the same rub and cooking method to give the belly the same goodness the original is known for. And if you really must have your brisket, you can still order the SRF Wagyu Brisket (P1,040/250 grams), or preorder the USDA Angus Brisket by whole slabs (note that availability will depend on the supply).
Since their opening, Holy Smokes has been hailed for their especially great command on meats, which they smoke low and slow using locally sourced woods. Although they closed temporarily, they thankfully reopened in late 2019 with new items on the menu (and cocktails!) to boot.
