(SPOT.ph) Looking to change it up from the usual fried chicken or fries you’ve been getting delivered? Why not enjoy Salmon Donburi for lunch, for a change? Your Local is back and delivering their food around Metro Manila, so you can enjoy their famous dishes without stepping out of the house. They deliver from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and you can opt to either buy through a service (such as Grab’s Pabili service or Lalamove’s Purchase Service), or to pay via BDO or GCash and have it delivered through you via your courier of choice (such as Grab or Lalamove).
Among the dishes you can get is their famous Torched Salmon Donburi (P695), which offers a medley of tastes and textures with torched Norwegian salmon, mentaiko, oboro, ebiko, and salmon skin on roasted corn and shiitake black rice. It was one of our favorite dishes when it came out in 2014, and continues to be one we keep coming back for to this day.
Meanwhile, spicy fans are in for a treat with the Chili Crab Buns (P435) which has tender shredded chili crab, cucumber spears, and herbs inside fried mantou. Watching a movie? The Feel Good Chicken (P380) would make an excellent companion—it's unlike any chicken dish in town with prawn paste chicken wings and maple cream cheese on the side. The Lamb Rendang (P595) is another winner—it’s as flavorful as it gets and is served with a sous vide organic egg, sweet soy, mint, and cilantro with red raisin black rice.
Your Local is a homegrown restaurant that opened in 2014. They’re famous for their selection of dishes injected with Southeast and East Asian influences, and which come plated in a distinct, visually-striking manner. In 2016, they also made it as the sole Philippine entry in Conde Naste Traveler’s Best Restaurants in the World list. They've also expanded their menu to include breakfast items with their signature flair. With their chill ambience and excellent eats, it’s no surprise people continue to praise their food to this day.
