Here's Who You Can Call for a Deep-Dish Pizza Today

( There’s lots of simple comfort to be found in sinking your teeth into a large slice of pizza or cheesy plate of pasta after a long day doing errands at the mall. We may not be able to go out and shop given the current situation, but if you’re in Quezon City, you now have another option for getting some quick Italian-inspired eats: Sbarro has reopened their UP Town Center branch for takeout and delivery orders via LalaFood and Foodpanda. They’re open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., so plan ahead!

There's no scrimping on the cheese here.

Sbarro’s Cheese Pizza (P87.20/slice, P500.80/whole) is one of our favorites in the city, what with its generous layer of gooey mozzarella. If you’re in the need for more carbs, go for one of their Pan Pizza options, like the Supreme Pan Pizza (P984.80/whole). And if you’re really hungry, their satisfyingly thicc Chicago Deep Dish pizzas will fill you up—try the Chicago All Meat (P192.80/slice, P1,495.20/whole) or Chicago White (P192.80/slice, P1,495/20/whole).

Meanwhile, their pasta dishes are pure comfort on a plate. The Baked Ziti with Alfredo Sauce (P131.20) has a generous amount of sauce, while the Baked Ziti with Meatballs in Tomato Sauce (P175.20) comes with tender balls of ground meat.

Sbarro is an Italian food chain that was founded in Brooklyn, New York, in 1956, initially as an Italian salumeria (delicatessen) before opening a second shop focused on offering pizza. They came to the Philippines in 1990, and have over 50 branches across the country today.
