You Can Get This Creamy Cheesecake Delivered to Your Mom

Show your love with this melt-in-your-mouth treat!

(SPOT.ph) It’s not always easy to think of how to celebrate Mother’s Day, and the ongoing quarantine certainly doesn’t make things easier. Here’s an idea: feast on Bizu’s Mother’s Day offerings—a lineup of savory dishes and desserts that can be sent to your doorstep—or your mom's, if she lives someplace else—via Bizu’s own delivery service.

The deliberately burnt top makes way to the creamy interior on the Bonita. It comes with a jar of Strawberry Coulis, which you can add on your own.

For Mother’s Day, Bizu has come up with three cakes. The pinkest of the lot is the Strawberry Shortcake (P1,650/midi, P2,995/grande), which comes with layers of genoise, strawberries, and raspberry-infused chantilly cream. A more chocolatey choice is the Marion (P1,850/midi), which has a sugar-free milk chocolate ganache on a gluten-free dacquoise crust and strawberries. You can also go for Bizu’s take on a Basque burnt cheesecake, in the form of the Bonita (P2,350/grande), which is as melt-in-your-mouth as its gets. It is a collaboration with Chef Mikel Martija who hails from San Sebastian, Spain, where the basque cheesecake came from.

They’ve also got a selection of entrees, which are available ala carte or as part of their family set meals. Start your meal while exchanging greetings with the Smoked Salmon Caviar (P2,150), which has Norwegian smoked salmon, cream cheese, and black caviar for a creamy mix with pops of saltiness.

For your mains, Bizu also offers ready-to-serve Family Meal Sets good for five people. The Family Set 1 (P3,900) gets you five dishes: Bizu’s signature 10-Hour Roast Beef, one of our favorite roast-beef dishes in Manila for its extremely tender meat; the Mixed Seafood Gratin, a gratinated dish of mixed seafood cooked in cream; the Chicken Provencal, or pan-seared chicken thigh fillet cooked in a tomato-olive sauce; the Sundried Tomato Aglio Olio, a pasta dish with the Mediterranean-leaning flavors of sun-dried tomatoes; and Truffle Mashed Potatoes.
