This Quirky Soju Will Remind You of a Very Familiar Drink
Time for a cocktail!
Soju comes in classic flavors such as original, grape, grapefruit, peach, plum, blueberry, and strawberry, but there's one flavor you might not have tried yet. Soju lovers, meet Chum Churum's Yogurt Soju (P115).
This flavor takes inspiration from the popular soju yogurt cocktail that mixes the distilled spirit with a yogurt drink, usually Yakult. Big fans of the well-known Japanese drink might want to check it out, especially since Yakult is pretty hard to find these days.
Chum Churum's Yogurt Soju isn't as sweet as the actual soju-Yakult mix, but it's got more of a sweet, milky taste that's not overpowering. The milkiness of this drink is similar to the flavor profile of Horoyoi's White Sour fruit beer and Lotte's Milkis.
This soju is good on its own, especially if it's served chilled, but you can still add Yakult or your preferred yogurt drink, or combine it with beer. You can also use it to make a Melona-ju cocktail, which is made with soju, Melona ice cream, and Sprite or Chilsung cider.
You can find Chum Churum's Soju Yogurt flavor at ASSI Fresh Plaza.
