You Can Still Order The Chocolate Kiss Café's Cakes Even After They Close

Not all is lost!

(SPOT.ph) It's a sad day for many an Isko and Iska, as The Chocolate Kiss Café has announced that they are permanently closing their doors. Not all is lost, however: You can still get your fix of their signature cakes even after they close starting August 24. The homegrown café is accepting orders of these sweet treats for pickup and takeaway from their Fairview commissary.

You can place same-day orders from Fridays to Sundays by contacting 3430-4817, 8962-8269, or 0908-883-1396 at least an hour in advance. You can also order in advance by checking the nearest order dates on their site and checking out the order form one day before your intended pickup day at the latest.

Try the Dayap Chiffon Cake if you like it light and fruity.

Their cake lineup includes chocolatey creations, like the Devil's Food Cake (P180/four inches, P490/six inches, P900/nine inches) and the Classic Chocolate Cake (P220/four inches, P600/six inches, P1,100/nine inches), which is one of our favorites in Manila. They've also got fruity creations like the Dayap Chiffon Cake (P190/four inches, P530/six inches, P1,000/nine inches), Date Walnut Cake (P210/four inches, P580/six inches, P1,050/nine inches) and Prune Cake (P210/four inches, P550/six inches, P1,000/nine inches).

Their Carrot Cake is one of our favorites in Manila.

The Chocolate Kiss' Carrot Cake (P210/four inches, P550/six inches, P1,000/nine inches) is another favorite of ours, while cheesecake lovers can take their pick from the Blueberry Cheesecake (P350/four inches, P790/six inches, P1,550/nine inches), Sour Cream Cheesecake (P330/four inches, P770/six inches, P1,500/nine inches), and Chocolate Chip Cheesecake (P350/four inches, P790/six inches, P1,550/nine inches). 

The Blueberry Cheesecake is wonderfully rich and dense.

The Chocolate Kiss Café is a homegrown café that opened its first branch at the Bahay ng Alumni at the UP Diliman campus in 1997. It will be closing permanently on August 24.
