Milk-Tea Fans, Chemistea Is Closing Their Quezon City Branch
Sad news for the Quezon City milk-tea scene.
(SPOT.ph) There's no shortage of milk-tea spots in the Metro, but it takes a special kind of concept to stand out. And that's precisely what Chemistea offers: one-of-a-kind tea drinks and other beverages you'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere else, served in quirky laboratory glassware. Coupled with their selection of board games, it's no surprise that they're especially popular with students and just about anyone looking for a cozy space to hang out. But if you're from the North, you'll want to hold on to those moments you spent lounging around the milk-tea spot, as Chemistea has announced that they're permanently closing their Quezon City branch on August 29.
"We're glad to have been part of the community and part of your lives, [Quezon City]!," Chemistea writes in a social media post. "Thank you for all the memories, but it's time we say goodbye. It's been a good run, and we consider you our family. Hope we have been yours too!"
Not all is lost, though: the milk-tea brand's BF Homes branch in Parañaque will remain open. In the meantime, you have a couple of weeks left to get your fix in Quezon City.
