(SPOT.ph) Maybe you have a birthday coming up. Your parents' golden anniversary. Or you're really just craving a good, hearty steak. Back in the day, you could easily troop over to your favorite steakhouse to celebrate, but the pandemic has made most of us (understandably) apprehensive about dining out. Delivery is an option, but the travel time can change the quality of the food; and not all of us are confident enough to be able to cook. Now, though, you can have a steak dinner cooked fresh by a chef, right in your own kitchen. That's right: Wolfgang's Steakhouse is making it happen with their micro-catering service, where they bring the full-on restaurant experience to your home and cater to as little as two people.

You have the option to avail of their Mobile Kitchen Truck—their own roving kitchen that's equipped with everything needed to cook up a full steak meal, including broilers that go up to 982.22°C! You can go for the No-Contact Catering (P488/head), where they can leave the meals at a table outside your home for you to get as you go, minimizing contact between diners and staff. You can also go for the Standard (P688/head) option, which includes waitstaff to serve your food and even tableware. For the full experience, go for the Premium (P988/head) option, which includes waitstaff, tableware, and even chairs and tables. Note that you'll have to spend a minimum of P30,000, including the cost of the food and the catering package of your choice.

You can also book a Personal Chef (P1,500/chef) who will cook in your own kitchen. They'll be bringing their own pans and other tools, though it's best that you have an oven in your house. You also have the option to include waitstaff and tableware if you go this route. The minimum consumable cost (all-in) for the Personal Chef option is P12,000.

For the food, you have the option of choosing from their set menus, or having a set menu created to fit your budget and needs. You can also go ala carte: start your meal with the Wolfgang's Crab Cake (P818) or French Onion Soup (P618). Mains include the T-Bone Steak (P4,688/700 grams), Rib Eye Steak (P6,688/900 grams), Prime NY Sirloin Steak (P4,288/600 grams), and Grilled Salmon (P1,488), which you can pair with Mashed Potatoes (P398), Lobster Mac & Cheese (P989), or Creamed Spinach (P498). End your meal on a sweet note with the Key Lime Pie (P328) or New York-Style Cheesecake (P398).
