Purple-Yam Fans, J.CO's New Ube-Cheese Doughnut Is for You
Looking for another way to enjoy the purple yam + cheese combo?
(SPOT.ph) We've waxed poetic about the pairing of ube and cheese, which brings nutty, savory-sweet, and creamy worlds together. The most common way to savor it is in ube-cheese pan de sal, but if you've ever wanted to try it in an even more indulgent form, look no further. J.CO Donuts & Coffee's newest offering is the Ube Cheese J.Club—a sweet treat consisting of an ube cream filling sandwiched in J.CO's classic doughnut base, topped with ube crumbs and cheddar cheese.
The Ube Cheese J.Club goes for P48 a piece and is available for pre-order, takeout, and delivery. To order for delivery, you can call the branch nearest you and book a courier to pick it up and get it sent to your doorstep. You can also find J.CO on GrabFood, though as of writing the Ube Cheese variant isn't listed on the app yet.
J.CO Donuts & Coffee is an doughnut chain hailing from Indonesia that came to the Philippines in 2012. Aside from their wide variety of doughnuts, they're also known for their selection of coffee drinks that are perfect paired with the fried pastries. Don't miss their signature Alcapone (white chocolate-almond) or Green Tease (green tea) doughnuts, which are no-fail pick-me-ups any time of the day.
Looking for other great doughnuts? You'll be happy to know that you've got tons of great options around the Metro. You can get them delivered, too, so you don't even need to step out to get your fix!
