Mokja Korean Restaurant Closes Its Doors
Sad news for the local KBBQ scene.
(SPOT.ph) If you're from Quezon City, you've likely spent a Friday night enjoying a KBBQ meal at Mokja Korean Restaurant. Sadly, it seems 2020 isn't done taking away the places we love, as the Korean establishment has announced that they'll be closing both their Maginhawa and Banawe outposts.
"It is with deep sadness that we are officially announcing the closure of both Maginhawa and Banawe branches," Mokja writes in a social media post. "In this trying time, we just hope for the safety and good health of everyone. We hope that after this pandemic, everything will go back to normal and we wish to see you again, maybe in some other place and with a new start."
The restaurant was known for their great Korean eats at affordable prices, which made them a fast favorite among the Quezon City crowd. They also offered unlimited meats at fixed prices per head, with great deals like the Unli 8 Meat Combo where you got eight kinds of marinated beef or pork for just P599 per person.
this strange new world.
