(SPOT.ph) The good news for Big Al's Cookie Jar fans just keep on coming. You might have caught wind of their website's recent launch, and now, you can order their cakes and even their ice-cream line on GrabFood!
Big Al's Cookie Jar made the announcement on Facebook on October 27. Before being available on GrabFood and prior to having their own website, the shop would have online forms on their social media accounts where people could pre-order on a first-come, first serve basis—which meant that the waiting time and coordinating pick-up could be a bit of a hassle. Though with the cake being our number one pick for 2019's roundup of the best chocolate cake in the Metro, we have to say it was always worth it.
You can search for Big Al's Cookie Jar on GrabFood to check if your location is covered by any of their four branches. Plus, they note that "long-distance delivery" will be available starting October 28 so get ready for an LDR worth waiting for. The only downside is that they may not be able to deliver during their peak hours, but at least, now you have more options on how to get their goods.
Thinking of what to order? You can always go for their Decadent Chocolate Cake (P385/loaf, P700/junior, P1,200/birthday)—and maybe order their new ice-cream series while at it, too. On Grab, you can get their Decadent Chocolate, Espresso, and Vanilla variants for P350 each.
You can also opt for their Chocolate Caramel Cake (P440/loaf, P800/junior, and P1,430/birthday) with a caramel topping that complements their chocolate-cake base, Butter Caramel Cake (P400/loaf), and Cookie Jars (starts at P330).
Looking for more cakes? You can also have these treats delivered to your doorstep. There's the pretty Pistachio Sansrival (P1,500) by Chef Jill Sandique, yet another favorite in Manila; and Mango Shortcake from Sainte Anne Cakes Manila, available in Special (P1,850) and Extra Special (P2,350).
this strange new world.
