Opening Soon: Potato Corner's First-Ever Drive-Thru Store in Quezon City

(SPOT.ph) Cases are back on the rise, which means most of us will be spending the next few days or weeks within the four walls of our homes in an effort to practice social distancing. That doesn't mean we can't dream of being able to go out leisurely again, though—and in recent months, Manileños the city over have become fond of going out for a ride and hitting up drive-thru spots where they can pick up (and nosh on!) their favorite eats, right from the comfort and relative safety of their cars. Soon, you'll be able to do just that while sating the Potato Corner craving, as the Filipino fried-potato brand is opening their own drive-  and walk-thru stores in Quezon City!

Check out the soon-to-open drive-thru shops of Potato Corner:

In an exchange with SPOT.ph, Potato Corner's CEO Jose Magsaysay Jr. shares that they're planning to open two of these drive-thru and walk-thru stores by February: One at the SEAOIL gas station on Congressional Avenue Extension, and another at the Caltex gas station along E. Rodriguez Avenue. "These stores will have an expanded menu," Magsaysay Jr. explains. "It will still be a house of flavors with other new products to make the purchase and customer experience more fun . . . We hope to open more stores like this in 2022." As Potato Corner is known for their small format stores (i.e., kiosks and carts) these upcoming drive-thru and walk-thru stores are "consistent [with] our DNA"—not to mention a timely innovation considering the rise of drive-thru shops in light of the pandemic.
