(SPOT.ph) The food and beverage scene in Manila has grown tremendously over the past years—and when you consider the pandemic that led to the closure of many homegrown restaurants in the past two years, the importance of supporting and celebrating local establishments becomes especially apparent. With that, you'll want to give a huge round of applause to three phenomenal homegrown restaurants in particular, as they made it to the 51 to 100 list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022!

Give a special shoutout to these three homegrown restaurants on the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 51 to 100 list of 2022:
Released today, March 22, the 51 to 100 list is an expansion of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list that shines the spotlight on 50 especially noteworthy dining establishments you can find around the continent. Chef Chele Gonzalez's celebrated dining spot Gallery by Chele—where indigenous Filipino ingredients are explored and the dishes from the many life phases of Gonzalez are reimagined into ingenious courses that tell a story in every bite—made it to the 69th spot.
Toyo Eatery—known for their contemporary takes on Filipino fare—also finished at 94th. And outside Manila, fine-dining spot Antonio's in Tagaytay made it to the 74th spot on the list.
By next Tuesday, March 29, Asia's 50 Best will be announcing the top 1 to 50 entries of the list. Our fingers are crossed it includes more Filipino restaurants; though in the meantime, you can still support your favorite homegrown spots by dining in or ordering for delivery.
The ranked list wherein they were hailed comes from The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, a global panel that traditionally hosts what is considered the Oscars of the fine-dining world since 2002.
