Honeybon isn’t afraid to channel their nutty side; and in the Pistachio Nougat Cake (P1,250), they shine the spotlight on its characteristically green namesake nut. In each cake are layers of chewy-crisp meringue with nougat and crushed pistachios, in between two layers of plush vanilla chiffon. The entire ensemble is then covered in vanilla whipped cream and crushed pistachios, which also lend the cake a mellow tea-green hue.
Salted Caramel Cheesecake from The Sugar-Free Bakery

The Sugar-Free Bakery bakes up all sorts of treats with erythritol in place of sugar, and they’ve come up with the Salted Caramel Cheesecake in time for Mother’s Day. Here, their signature cheesecake gets a lush upgrade with an almond crust on the bottom, plus a drizzle of salted “caramel” and adornments of chocolate hazelnut balls on top.
Signature Lemon Olive Oil Cake from The Drunk Baker
Here’s a sunny-tasting cake that’ll help you show Mom just how much she brightens up your day. The Drunk Baker is known for their moist olive oil cakes in fun flavors—perhaps the best-known of which is the Signature Lemon Olive Oil Cake, where the natural fruitiness of the olive oil is brought out with a zesty helping of citrus. It’s available in a couple of ways, but you can’t go wrong with the version that’s got their tangy cream-cheese frosting plus toppings of strawberries (P1,570/regular, P2,850/party).

The Nutty Brazo Sansrival (P2,000) pairs the crunchy-nutty character of sans rival with the richness of brazo de mercedes, with layers of brazo de mercedes custard, cashew dacquoise, and vanilla buttercream—plus a generous amount of pili nuts on the exterior. Alternatively, there’s the equally dreamy Leche Flan Tres Leches (P2,250), where milk- soaked sponge cake, chantilly cream, mangoes, strawberries, and leche flan all come together into a fruity-creamy whole.

Yup, Mary Grace is bringing back their Tres Leches for Mother’s-Day season—and this year’s version (P2,308) goes for an especially swoon-worthy, white-on-pink ombre look! Slice inside and you’ll find layers of vanilla sponge cake soaked in earl grey tea-infused milk, plus a homemade caramel filling. Orders also come with a bottle of their tres leches milk sauce that you can pour over slices. for added richness.
Kyiv Cake from The Manila Baker
It can be hard to find a gift that'd impress the mom that’s seen and tasted it all—and is perhaps looking for a one-of-a-kind treat that ventures beyond the usual cakes available locally. Enter The Manila Baker’s Kyiv Cake (P1,550).
