(SPOT.ph) Does any Filipino treat evoke nostalgia the way good ol' iskrambol can? Yeah, didn't think so. The iced snack-slash-dessert of a milky-icy slush base and toppings like assorted candies and syrups is one of those sweet, colorful, deliberately over-the-top treats that appeals to the inner child in us that to this day refuses to die. It's often found on the streets, sold via carts that would peddle cups to the young and young-at-heart—and now you can get a similar treat right from your nearby Ministop, as they've got a new iskrambol-inspired treat in the form the new Chillz Iskrambol.
Craving for iskrambol? Check out this new cooler at Ministop:
This Chillz Iskrambol (P45/12 ounces, P50/16 ounces) is another addition to Ministop's Chillz line of frozen slushies, and it's got a similar pink base that's part-icy, part-creamy—and you can opt to add toppings (P12) like candy sprinkles, powdered milk, chocolate fudge, and mini marshmallows! Talk about a whimsical treat—and sure you could sip it like you would other Chillz flavors, or you can go the old-fashioned route and consume it with a spoon.
Ministop is a convenience-store chain that hails from Japan. They came to the Philippines in the year 2000 and were the first convenience store in the country to be equipped with an in-store kitchen facility.
