(SPOT.ph) Pork has long been the default meat and base of choice when it comes to ramen, but when done right, chicken also makes for great-tasting bowls—and the poultry was given its well-deserved time to shine when Marudori opened their doors in Rockwell in January. Coming from the folks that brought us Mendokoro, Marudori is all about star chicken ramen (dubbed paitan) that's distinct from, yet every bit as decadent as, its more popular pork-based counterpart (dubbed tonkotsu). Should you be closer to the Salcedo side of Makati, we've got great news: the ramen-ya's opening a second branch in your area very soon!

Coming soon is a new location where you can get your Marudori fix:
Marudori's second branch is located at V Corporate Center in Salcedo Village, and is essentially a takeover of Mendokoro's Salcedo branch. Yup, it's the same space. Take a look:
Nippon Hasha Founder and CEO Ryan Cruz shares with SPOT.ph that the branch is currently on its dry run, but it'll be opening officially some time in the next few weeks. As with their other establishments, you can also expect this Marudori branch to have an exclusive menu item! While waiting, you'll want to give their Facebook and Instagram pages a follow.
