Hot News: McDonald's McSpicy and Spicy McNuggets Are Back to Heat Up Your Days
They won't be around for long.
(SPOT.ph) Raise your hands if you love spicy food. Never mind that the heat leaves you in tears, sweating buckets in an air-conditioned room as it burns down your throat. You love sufferi—erm, we mean, challenging your taste buds. Chances are you couldn't get enough when McDonald's served up the crowd-faves McSpicy sandwich and the Spicy McNuggets—you're also a fan of the fast-food chain, so it was hitting two birds with one stone—but like all good things, it was merely a fleeting connection. Hey, you're in it for the pain, anyways. Right? Well, it's time to turn your frowns upside down because yes, your hot favorites are back on the menu starting this September.

Turn up the heat with McDonald's spicy favorites this September
If A) you've been waiting for this moment to come again; B) you didn't get a chance to have a bite of McDonald's spicy favorites and have always wanted to; or C) are craving something to spice up your days, then here's your chance to try McDonald's recurring favorites. Two babies come back to light things up on Thursday, September 22. What's on the menu? Check it out below.
There's the Spicy McNuggets (P145/solo, P182/small meal), or the original McNuggets coated and infused with dried peppers, accompanied by the classic barbeque sauce, of course. A nugget alone has just the right amount of kick, so you're going to be okay even if you don't have a tolerance for spice or aren't too much of a fan. There's always the savory flavor of the classic barbeque to subdue the heat if it gets too much.
And if you're wondering if things can ever be as good as they once were, well, McDonald's promises the McSpicy (P171/solo, P219/small meal) to be the way you remember it to be: a thick, crisp, and spiced fried chicken cutlet with crisp lettuce in between sesame buns. Yup, just one bite is enough for you to heat the breaks. Get it? Take heat of the warning. Okay, okay. We'll stop with the puns.
We couldn't end this rundown without a shoutout to the Spicy Chicken McDo; this staple doesn't come and go—unlike some people—but is always there—again, unlike some people—to complete the spicy roster.
McDonald's spicy hits will be available starting September 22. Take note that the McSpicy and Spicy McNuggets won't be around forever so don't waste time and try it as soon as possible. And when it's all over, remember not to cry because it's gone, smile because it happened.
