(SPOT.ph) The cast and director of Aquaman only arrived in Manila on December 10, but it seems they've been enjoying their trip so far. Aside from Aquaman himself Jason Momoa talking about living with Filipinos in Hawaii, he and co-star Amber Heard have been posting about their trip to Manila on their respective Instagram accounts.
In her Instagram Stories, Heard posted a video of her and her team being escorted by electric shuttles at the airports. She also posted photos of her signing wine bottles and posing by a window with a view of Manila's skyline before the Fan Event.
Momoa, on his end, took a video of being welcomed by hordes of screaming fans at the venue. At one point, he enters a portable toilet, takes a video of himself looking at the mirror, then exits once again, to the delight of his fans.
Director James Wan also enjoyed his welcome to the Philippines in the best way—with a bag of "Momoa-flavored" chips.
Fans got to see the actors and director up close during the Fan Event that happened at the Music Hall in SM Mall of Asia. After meeting their fans, they attended the Asian Premiere of the movie, and we got to snap a few photos of the event. Take a look:
Fans started arriving hours before the event officially started so they could get a good spot. But their wait was worth it because Momoa, Heard, and Wan took the time to sign all kinds of items and even take selfies with them.
Lucky fans—who probably waited for hours—got to take photos with the stars and the director of the movie. Heard was dressed to the nines in a sparkling gown while Momoa sported his signature laid-back outfit.
Even luckier fans also got to meet Momoa and Heard while waiting for their Aquaman screening at the new IMAX Cinema. It looks like the fans and the stars enjoyed the Fan Event—fingers crossed Momoa and Heard will make their way back to our shores soon! (Maybe for a sequel?)
