(SPOT.ph) The holidays are upon us, which means—aside from having to buy lots of gifts—you've got a lot more time to finally start watching a new series. And if you were a fan of Prime Cruz's hit indie movie Sleepless, the spinoff series based on the film will give you all the same feels. It was first announced in 2017 and now it's available for streaming on the Cignal Play app.

Sleepless was an entry to the 2015 QCinema International Film Festival. It stars Glaiza de Castro and Rocco Nacino as two insomniacs who spend the night talking to each other until the sun comes up.

In the teaser trailer for the TV series—still directed by Cruz—a new set of characters are seen going through the same, well, sleepless problem.  It follows call center agents who try to figure out their hectic work schedule while making meaningful connections with other people. It stars Albie Casino, Mara Lopez, Shaira Mae, Acey Aguilar, Trina Legaspi, and Martin Escudero.

Sleepless is now streaming on Cignal Play, which is available on the App Store for iOS users and on the Google Play Store for Android users.
