(SPOT.ph) It's only been two days since the Philippines' own Catriona Gray was crowned Miss Universe on December 17 in Bangkok, Thailand. But in case you're not over it yet and can't get enough of the Pinay beauty queen, you can nurse your Miss Universe hangover with a special playlist specially curated by Spotify. While the Panalo! playlist features songs like "All I Do Is Win" (because of course it does) and "Slow Motion" (much like Gray's signature lava walk), it also includes Gray's song called "We're in This Together."Â
In case you didn't know, Gray is actually a really great singer. During one of the pre-recorded interviews for Miss Unvierse, she shares that she loved music ever since she was a kid. "Once I started music, it was just fulfilling in a way that everything else wasn't. My mom told me that even when I was in the womb, I was dancing to music!"
Her song, "We're in This Together" also comes with a music video which shows Gray going around the slums of Manila. It was produced for Young Focus Philippines, an NGO that funds the education of kids from Smokey Mountain. In the song, Gray sings about trying to be a source of change, saying, "You can take everything you need, it doesn’t matter to me, ‘cause we’re in this together."
Fingers crossed Gray will come out with new music soon, though she'll probably be busy fulfilling her Miss Universe duties. In the meantime, you can listen to Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" and practice your own lava walk.Â
