Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa's Sequel Finally Has a Premiere Date
Tayo, Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon also released its first full teaser!
(SPOT.ph) The wait is almost over for fans of indie romance movie Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa, which premiered in 2015. The sequel for the hit film was announced back in 2016, and movie buffs have been eagerly standing by for updates since then—like the official poster and character portraits. The good news is, Tayo, Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon, is finally set to hit theaters on May 8. Plus, there's a new teaser with more details about what happened to Sam and Isa since we last saw them and their complicated non-relationship.
Director Nestor Abrogena is returning to helm the film, while Sam and Isa will still be played by Nicco Manalo and Emanuelle Vera, respectively. Tayo, Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon follows Sam and Isa as they navigate their way through their own, separate relationships while figuring out their relationship with each other and themselves.
The first teaser for the film sees Sam walking along the Ayala MRT station and now, in the second teaser, we see him taking photos of the pretty lights in what looks like Ayala Triangle Gardens. That's where he runs into Isa. The teaser also shows Sam and Isa with their own partners (played by Anna Luna and Alex Medina), who don't seem that happy in their relationship. You'll feel even more sawi feels thanks to the film's original soundtrack, a new song called "Huling Sandali" by December Avenue.
Tayo, Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon opens in theaters on May 8.
