The Studio Behind and Alone/Together Is Back With Another Movie About Almost Relationships
Because you can never have too much sawi feels.
(SPOT.ph) Admit it—at one point or another you probably related with either Liza Soberano or Enrique Gil's characters in Alone/Together. (Were you the one with regrets or the one who couldn't move on?) If you're looking for another feels trip the next time you go to the movies, you can get your fix when Between Maybes premieres on May 15. The new film starring Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson is from Black Sheep—the same studio behind hugot-worthy hits Alone/Together and Exes Baggage. It is directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, who helmed 100 Tula Para Kay Stella and The Day After Valentine's.
According to the synopsis, Barretto plays Hazel, an actress who just wants to get away from her hectic schedule and ends up booking a flight to an isolated town in Japan. There, she meets and ends up staying with Louie (Anderson), who welcomes her since he's been used to being alone. The two eventually start a relationship, but Hazel is bound to leave soon—and they're trying to make the most out of their time left together.
Between Maybes opens in cinemas on May 15.
