JaDine Set to Star in the Remake of Korean Film Spellbound
This is the couple's first major movie together since Never Not Love You.
(SPOT.ph) If you were starting to get worried Nadine Lustre and James Reid wouldn't be getting back together on the big screen, then we're here to quash those fears. Viva Entertainment, their management, officially announced that the pair will be starring in the Philippine remake of Spellbound, a Korean movie, on June 3.
JaDine spent most of 2018 working on individual projects: Reid starred in Miss Granny with pop princess Sarah Geronimo, while Lustre worked with Carlo Aquino for Ulan. Recently, Lustre was kept busy filming for her upcoming dance film with Sam Concepcion, Indak, while Reid unfortunately had to back out of the Pedro Penduko project. Spellbound will be their first major movie together since Never Not Love You, released in 2018.
Spellbound, which was released in 2011, is cross between horror, comedy, and romance. It follows the story between Jo-goo (Lee Min-ki), a stage magician who discovers his lonely assistant Yeo-ri (Son Ye-jin) can see dead people. Jo-goo's attempts to get Yeo-ri a date only ends up with them falling for each other, and together they try to make their relationship work despite the circumstances.
