(SPOT.ph) You better make sure you're seated down for this one. Keep your hands over your hearts, people, because the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has finally dropped. We know you probably won't read this part anyways so we're going to shut up now and let you watch the masterpiece—whoops, trailer—in peace. Fair warning though, you might just shed a tear or two.
Have you come back to reality yet? Let's discuss, or at least try—there is a lot to unpack. The latest trilogy to come out of the timeless Star Wars universe left us all hanging with The Last Jedi, and it looks like The Rise of Skywalker trailer isn't offering any clues either.
We've got Rey (Daisy Ridley) back with Finn (John Boyega), Poe (Oscar Isaac) and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) all together in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, complete with a shot of C-3P0 (Anthony Daniels) actually having a very human moment, an ominous but unfortunately very familiar voice going, "Your coming together will be your undoing," and also, who else cried when our Queen Leia (the unforgettable Carrie Fisher) came on screen? Plus, did we really just spot Rey and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) working together?
The movie hits U.S. theaters and selected countries on December 20. There's no word yet for the official release date in the Philippines, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that we get to see the film in December, too.
