(SPOT.ph) 2019 has been a great year for music—there were cool releases from local bands (like Ben&Ben’s “Masyado Pang Maaga”), and you got unlikely collabs courtesy of BTS and Halsey, and the year isn’t even over yet! There’s some time left before the decade closes, and there’s still more to listen to. Here’s a Friday the 13th release you don’t want to miss: former One Direction member Harry Styles’ latest album Fine Line.
The album contains 12 songs, including previously released tracks “Lights Up” and “Watermelon Sugar,” along with latest single “Adore You.” In an interview, Styles shares that opening up and exposing his vulnerabilities is new. He also comes clean about how “I can be really be pathetic when I’m jealous.” The album captures his oscillation between beng sad and happy, as well as discontent with himself, and it’s a different experience for him to openly talk about those issues.
The British pop singer is preparing for his upcoming 2020 tour Love On Tour to promote the release of Fine Line. Australia, Asia, and other additional tour dates and information are to follow in 2020. Who knows, the singer might just drop by in Manila next year!
