(SPOT.ph) Despite quarantine restrictions in the Philippines forcing everyone to stay indoors amidst the pandemic, nine-piece indie-folk band Ben&Ben has been able to keep their music alive and their fans entertained by way of online concerts and even a music video dedicated to frontliners. And by the looks of it, the band isn't stopping anytime soon: They just released their latest single entitled "Lifetime," today, June 4 at exactly 12 midnight!
The song originated from a heartfelt comment written by a fan named Anne Jou on the YouTube video for Ben&Ben's song "Doors." The comment detailed Anne's personal story about falling in love with her best friend, but being too afraid to tell him only to later learn (after his wedding) that he had also loved her but feared confessing his feelings and potentially ruining their friendship.

The band was so moved by Anne Jou's comment that they decided to write a song about it. They officially started recording the song on May 19 and asked for their fans' patience before it could be released as recording from separate homes involves many limitations that slow down the production process. Now the wait is finally over: Get ready for some feels, Ben&Ben fans!
