Ben&Ben Covering BTS' "Dynamite" Has Made 2020 a Little Less Terrible
Along with all the other blessed K-Pop covers they've given us!
(SPOT.ph) In a crossover we didn't know we needed, Ben&Ben just did their own version of BTS' "Dynamite"—and now Twitter is going wild (this time in actual joy). If you think the sound of the Pinoy indie folk band won't mix well with the K-Pop idol group's intensity, then, well, you'll have to hear it for yourself.

Don't worry, we're not over how smooth—and happy!—the song is either. We nearly forgot what year it is, TBH. Ben&Ben premiered the cover on their YouTube channel on September 2, as part of their BBTV series. The band has been living together amid the pandemic in order to keep creating new music; a side product of which is that they can bless us all with vlogs of them covering K-Pop songs!
You can watch their whole performance on YouTube. The BTS cover is actually just one K-Pop song that they put a Ben&Ben twist to. They also covered "Not By The Moon" by GOT7 and "Baby Don't Cry" by EXO, among others, in the same video.
The Pinoy band recently gained attention in South Korea, too, thanks to all the epic K-Pop covers they've been doing. "Ben&Ben" was a top Twitter trend in the South Korean network in July after it topped the charts of a local streaming platform. Plus, they've even got some international fans in the form of none other than Momo of Twice, who was caught playing Ben&Ben's "Leaves" in the background of an IG story.
