TBH, the entire album was on another level.
(SPOT.ph) Anyone else still riding high from the release of Nadine Lustre's first-ever visual album on October 31? Wildest Dreams came on to our screens and for exactly 33 minutes and one second, 2020 wasn't all that bad. The short film-esque production directed by Dominic Bekaert featured Lustre moving through dreamlike landscapes—and amazing outfits by Filipino designers to boot—in a sequence that really brought us into her wildest dreams (Sorry, couldn't help it). Oh, and yes, James Reid was also in it (giving fans a much-needed reunion)! Wildest Dreams was co-written by Lustre and released under Careless, Reid's label. He was also credited executive producer with Lox Valiente.
In case you haven't seen it yet, why not take a 30-minute breather and relax with the awesome visuals of Lustre's Wildest Dreams? Trust us, it's one heck of a trip. The video goes from delving into Filipino folklore and history to snippets of Lustre's own thoughts and feelings, with an over-arching mantra of her saying "I give myself permission to..." and of course, Lustre's new songs.
